Papa's Got a Brand New Bag
Unhappy news is never nice to hear but sometimes it’s important to tell: NBM is sad to report that Simon, design lead from the start, has had to pull out of the project for personal reasons. Simon may still be involved from time to time but will no longer be active as a day to day core team member.
On a happier note, we are getting close to the launch of the inaugural E-cd; the final copy for the album booklet is being set as I type this and the cover artwork is well in hand too. It’s like watching small plants grow from seed or a sunset develop its full glory; you have to live it, breath it, believe it — we do.
More than just pixels...
In partnership with the lead design for the E-cds we have taken the bold step of further developing our signature Digital Identity. Part of this advancement can be seen on our main site www.newbeatsmedia.com and on the many and varied social networks we haunt into the late hours.
It is a bold move indeed given how precious many traditional companies are over their logo and all that. Hear we tend to think that the company is bigger than a few pixels formed into a strange shape. Yes we are serious about the business and yes we have a brand and an ideal to fulfill. No, we are not going to get hung up on each and every pixel; our image is carried in our hearts, the pixels jump to our tune not the other way around.
